Found yesterday a near mint AEG Olympia Traveller De Luxe made in Yugoslavia. German/Swiss keyboard, a very nice machine, very reliable, a pleasure to use!

Thanks for the review Daniel, you pointed me in the right direction when I was searching for an ultra portable.

Recently acquired one a slightly different shade of blue from the one pictured and assumed it was an SF, but maybe it’s a Traveler (no literature came with it).
It’s a great machine and the type alignment is right on.
It cost all of $2.99 US at a thrift store — about the cost of a new ribbon!

I saw one recently for sale that was multi-colored – has anyone seen THAT before? (Each panel had a different bright color – quite weird and wonderful)

Thank you for this lovely review…..it made me buy aTRAVELLER instantly on Ebay (very, very sweet last minute deal).
I once had a wonderfull typewriter (unluckily it left me and, shame on me, I don´t remember the brand) and it was like magic to write on it. My fingers just flew over the tabs and storys appeared, out of the blue, on paper at an incredible speed.Tryed to relace it with a flea maket find, a Erika, wich i got restored at a tiny quite hidden shop in Munich, Bavaria. A beautyfull typewriter….but a complete different expirience.
Now I´m happily looking forward to my froggy-green Olympia Traveller…. I´ll keep you update as the story continues

I used one, from around 1972, all through high school and college, and really regret giving it away.
But the keys were anything but light. You really had to pound on it. Weird.
